Srijan Club(Creativity)
Srijan is a student club related to major creative activities. The major Activities/ events organized by Srijan club are Face Painting, Rangoli, Recycling the waste, clay art, Painting, and Palm Art.
Face Painting
The club i organizes several face painting competition every year. The face painting competition themes are Jungle Animals, nature, Horror etc. You certainly let your imagination run riot and came up with realism, comedy, fantasy and a high-calibre of technical beauties.
Rangoli
Rangoli is an art, in which patterns are created on the floor or Entrance using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, and colored sand or flower petals. The purpose of Rangoli is decoration, and it is thought to bring good luck. The club, Srijan organizes Rangoli competition to develop Indian culture in our students.
Recycling Waste
Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction and is the third component of the "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle" waste hierarchy. Roorkee college of Engineering, Roorkee focusses at reuse and recycle process of plastic material. Srijan is responsible for organizing activities like seminars and technical discussion over How to promote Recycling and Reuse and Reduce the use of Plastic material.
Clay Arts
Pot Decoration through clay is the major competition in clay art activity at Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee.
Painting
Organizing Painting competition is one of the regular events of Srijan Club.Technical paintings; Paintings on world environment days, Woman’s Day etc. are the major events for organizing competition.
Palm Art
Srijan club organize palm art activity and various competitions at Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee along with other events.
Photography
Photography is a platform to bring together the likeminded people and share knowledge about the art and science of Photography. The club encourages students to study light and imparts tips on composition.
The club organises activities that give a chance to learn photography, utilise their camera to the fullest and become sensitised to the world around.
The club “focuses” on interaction between experts and students in addition to enhancing peer learning in photography and build an environment to capture memories forever.
