Unleashing the braces of mighty mind can take students to the top. Having knowledge is not important, utilizing it at the correct time and place is vital. Students at RCE Show their knowledge and skills to beat the heat of the technical “MEGA QUIZ ROUNDS”.

Vipaksha – Inter debate Competition

In view to enhance knowledge and speaking skills of students, technical committee of the RCE Roorkee organizes the debate competition, Vipaksha , at college campus. Topics for the debate competition:

Ojas- Prastuti

“Let your confidence reflect your contentedness. “ Presenting yourself in a concise manner is the need of an hour. Your presentation reflects your personality and paves path in today’s corporate scenario. Students at RCE show their presentation skills through “Prastuti”.

Googler 

This event is organized for the students to improve their general knowledge and awareness about the current and past events.

AD – Attack

This is a design completion where creative entries are invited for the design of New Year Greeting Card, College Calendar, College Diary etc. Innovative art work, promoting values of RCE, having any type of art / expression submitted by the students are presented. The selected entry’s work published by college on above mentioned items, and for any such purpose as decided by college administration. The credit will be given to the creator.

APTI 

An Aptitude Training Program (APTI) of 80 Hours was scheduled at Roorkee College of Engineering (RCE) for the students of RCE Roorkee. This training program helped the students to enhance their mental ability and aptitude skills which will further enhance their capability to compete with other students when they will appear in the forthcoming campus placements. This program introduced new concepts, spurring participants to investigate it further on their own, or can demonstrate and encourage the practice of actual methods.

Coding Geeks

‘Coding Geeks’ is a platform for sharing new algorithms, programming logics, programming codes and articles related to programming. This event is organized on regular basis for the various students.

Mathletica 

This program is scheduled every year by the team of students and staff which aims towards the enhancement of logical ability of the students by participating in various quiz competitions involving mathematics.

Palanhaar

Palanhaar a clay modeling competition. Clay modelling is one of the ways to develop fine motor skills in students. Students develop creative skills, aesthetic skills, social skills and cognitive skills too. The students prepared different models where their inherent talents. Models are evaluated on the basis of their ingenuity and novelty.
