Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Electrical Engineering broadly involving electricity, electromagnetism and electronics is essential in modern human life and industries. The present day academic activities of electrical engineering are very broad with this due reason. The electrical and electronics engineering department at RCE has specialized faculties in all important areas of electrical and electronics engineering such as power system, power electronics & drives, control & automation and signal processing.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), deals with the engineering problems, opportunities and needs of electrical, electronics and computer, telecommunication systems and related industries. This branch provides students with a wide range of fundamental knowledge in core disciplines such as communications, control systems, signal processing, radio frequency design, micro-processors, micro-electronics, power generation and electrical machines. The discipline focuses on design and manufacture of electrical, electronic devices, computers and their component parts, as well as on the integration of components into complex systems.

The deparment also encourages the students to participate in various technical workshops, Internships and Industrial visits. The laboratories are well equiped and that comprised Electrical Circuit, Power Systems, Electrical Machines and Control and Measurment laboratories
