Student Academic committee plays a prominent role in representing between the students and works towards ensuring that students' interest and queries are raised with the concerned fields of their interest.. It also serves as a vital link between the student body and the faculty at Roorkee College of engineering. The committee contributes towards smooth functioning of the academic system and ensures timely resolution of all relevant issues raised by the student community. It takes up the responsibility of imbibing best practices so that both the present and future batches can have a better academic system in place. It also holds the responsibility for practices like holding academic award functions to honour students for academic excellence.

The purpose of student academic committee is to gather evidence of student performance over a period of time in order to measure and continuously improve learning and weak students are adopted by the different skilled students of their classes.
