HOD Message

It gives me immense pride and pleasure to lead the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of this esteemed & prestigious institution. Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is the front runner because of its recent recognition and adoption by all industries and academia, thereby gaining self-confidence of our students to compete successfully with all competitive disciplines. It imparts quality education in multifarious disciplines of Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Control Engineering, etc. along with generation, transmission and distribution of electrical power and a set of subjects specially focusing on the performance and design of DC, AC and Special Electric Machines. The inherent skills of our students are being well nurtured by highly qualified faculty and hard working staff in achieving goals & objectives of the Department.

Our Department consists of various laboratories equipped with the new technological set ups giving the scope to all students having a hands on experience individually, which will increase their confidence to face the practical problems in the field of Electrical Engineering.

Apart from the regular curriculum the department strives to develop the students into intellectual prodigy .The department conducts various programs under the departmental association such as Workshops, Technical Training, Project-expo, Guest Lectures and Seminar by Experts from Industry and Academic background for constant knowledge up-gradation of staff and students. This activity helps to know the latest technologies, in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Industrial visits are regularly organized to improve the practical knowledge of the students and to have an interaction with the industry people.

We continue to play a leading role in our discipline which leads us towards creating innovative and effective professional graduate community which would vivacious and provide continuous learning. I extend my warm wishes to all budding Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Programme Education Objectives (PEO)

PEO1 : Graduate will possess fundamental prerequisites in mathematical, scientific and engineering fields required to solve technical problems.

PEO2 : Graduates will possess proficiency in hardware languages and use of latest software tools so as to comprehend, analyse, design and create novel solutions for the real life problems.

PEO3 : Graduates will involve in professional and ethical environment, to build effective communication skills, multidisciplinary and teamwork skills and to relate engineering issues to broader social context.

PEO4 : Graduate will have the knowledge to adapt to the changing industrial needs and to become an entrepreneur to lead a successful professional career in lifelong learning.

Programme Outcomes (PO)

PO1 : Students will demonstrate knowledge of differential equations, integral equations, vector calculus, complex variables, matrix theory, probability theory and random process, chemistry, physics and basic electrical & electronics engineering.

PO2 : Students will demonstrate an ability to identify, formulate and solve electronics and communication engineering problems.

PO3 : Students will demonstrate an ability to design electronic and electrical circuits and conduct experiments with electrical, electronics and communication systems, analyse and interpret data.

PO4 : Students will demonstrate an ability to design digital and analog systems, Signal processing and VLSI design related projects.

PO5 : Students will demonstrate an ability to visualize and work on laboratory and multi-disciplinary tasks.

PO6 : Students will demonstrate skills to use modern engineering tools, software and hardware to analyse problems.

PO7 : Students will demonstrate knowledge of professional and ethical responsibilities.

PO8 : Students will be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form in person and work effectively in a team.

PSO1: To enhance the knowledge of Electronics and Communication in accordance to the recent development of Technology.
