ORACLE ACADEMY
The Oracle Academy, the global institute for Technology Provider partnered with Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee to train students of 21st century and to provide teachers with world-class training and professional development opportunities. The Computer Science & Engineering department along with Oracle Academy have been providing on-line training and online conferences for the students and teaching community. It is beneficial to students as well as academicians to gear up their knowledge and technical expertise. Students who undertake the Oracle training will gain opportunities in learning technical, business and analytical skills as well.
e-YANTRA
e-Yantra is a project initiated at IIT Bombay and sponsored by Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India. Under this project, Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee has set up this Robotics laboratory with advanced robotic kits and equipments where students design and execute projects through out the year.
Activities
- By establishing a Robotics CoE in the college students can work for their mini-projects and major-projects on Robot platforms.
- Students can participate in various Robotic competitions confidently , as they have environment / lab setup in the college through which they can learn and prepare for the competitions.
- Robot is part of open-source eco-system where students can learn and understand already existing things and improve upon them.
- Students and teachers can participate in e-Yantra Ideas competition to present their innovative ideas which they incubated at the Robotics Lab
Siemens Centre of Excellence
Siemens Center of Excellence is a state-of-the-art lab set up at the premise of the institute itself, that comprises typical equipment and software that drives modern manufacturing industry. Siemens helps plan, install, commission and operate these Centers of Excellence to offer high-end skill training for the students and staff of the institution.
The objective of Siemens’ Center of Excellence is to build a self-sustainable, interactive, industry-relevant, and cyber-physical learning platform to bridge the Technical Skill Gap that exists between academia and industry today. With the Make in India initiative launched by the Government of India, many modern Industry 4.0 factories will come up and need a huge pool of engineers trained and made industry-ready in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. Centers of Excellence in College offer more than just training and skill development. They offer internship opportunities, R&D for industry, as well as consultancy services.
Universidad Abierta Interamericana (UAI), Argentina , South America
The Interamerican University (in Spanish, Universidad Abierta Interamericana, UAI) is a university in Argentina. Its main seat and rectorate is located in Buenos Aires. It has educational facilities in six locations in the city and in Buenos Aires Province, as well as three locations and an administrative seat in Rosario, Santa Fe.
The Inter-American Open University, founded in 1995, develops an Academic Project, which expresses the commitment to education in a path of permanent effort to respond to the social, cultural and political demands of current times. Its mission is to provide quality higher education at the undergraduate, graduate and undergraduate levels, offering conditions that favor social inclusion and thus contributing to the democratization of knowledge. This quality training focuses its gaze on the learner with the purpose of developing their potential to the maximum through innovative, participatory and critical teaching methodologies that aim to find answers to social problems.

Samara State Technical University, Russia
Samara Polytech is one of the oldest universities in the Volga region. SSTU nowadays is the biggest research and educational center of the region. The brand of the SAMARA POLYTECH is a quality mark, recognized throughout the country. SAMARA POLYTECH today is the largest technopolis of the Volga region, which in 2014 celebrated its 100th anniversary. The whole era of the formation and development of engineering education and science of the Samara region and neighboring regions is connected precisely with our university.
